Few people turned up for the ECP outing. Thanks to traffic jam and taking of wrong buses, i ended up one and a half hour late. The weather was diabolically terrible, rain for the whole bloody day. Undeterred, our group continued to cycle desipte the sully weather and ended up drenched. My hair was like a used mop.

Monday - 19/07
After school, went to get a free movie at causeway point. Our sit was quite near to the screen so for the entire movie, i had to tilt my head 45 degree up. After the movie, i got a terrible headache.

So much things happened this few days.

Friday - 16/07
Had 2 test, ELTECH lab test and Compro written test.
Basically stayed the whole day in Ngee Ann Poly.
I think i'm going to flunk lab test, one bloody question cost more than 20% of the whole marks. I forgot Thevein's Rth Theorem and the bloody bonus question was tricky.
Compro written test was relatively easy.
Lastly went to CCA to play with some telescope and binocular.

Saturday - 17/07
Went to Marina Terrace with some friends to visit the Community Centre's astronomy event.
The sky was quite bad but the alignment of Venus which is the brightest object in the sky, Mars and Saturn was perfect. The three planets could be seen just by looking at a direction.

My fucking computer is spoilt, lazy to repair, repair = $$$, what the jesus.

Had a wondrous Friday!
My course class was very happening and enthusiastic in having more events for the coming future.
Basketball, soccer, guitar, singing with my class during our 3 hour break time.
CCA was enjoyable and interactive. Managed to befriend with some people. After CCA, went to Macdonald without any choice ( I really hate fastfood + Most of them wanted to have Macdonald ) for dinner with my CCA mate.

Now time to rush for COMPRO mini-project stage 2. Damn i really hate Compro.

Time is flying too fast. A blink of an eye and half a year is gone.

Projects started flooding in after the holiday and the IS jumpstart final project that requires the entire day to accomplish is around the corner.
So little time and so many people yet to make friends with.
I want more jamming session so to meet people with their own profession in specific instrument and acknowledge my singing prowess.

Went to KCC 2D1N Chalet at Aloha. The Chalet was spacious, adequate beds for some but not for us and serene sea view environment. Females participants outnumbered male participants but many were CMI. Make alot of new friends though.

During the afternoon, we wasted nearly an hour waiting for some " VIP " that deserve a punch in the face then boarded bus to Downtown East and strolled to Aloha resort.
Next event were making Kimchi and Kimbap making and some boring ice breaking game that gave us chance to mingle around with others.

At night, majority of the participants and crew including our group went to Kbox. All the songs selected were Kpop genre. Spent $8 for 3 hours in Kbox watching Kpop song's MV, adding some noise effect by shouting parts of the lyrics that i know and danced along.

At midnight, our group cycled to Changi Village with an intention to see transsexual hooker. Took us nearly a total of less then 1 hour to cycle 12km to and back from Changi Village. All of us were first time encountering transsexual hooker at the Changi Village. One of the hooker's size was awfully bigger and muscular then all of us. Their presence sent a chill down our spine making us want to puke. Sighting those hooker was worse then encountering ghost.

Went to 3D2N EES recruitment camp from 14th to 16th.
60 plus people signed up for the camp and less then 40 turned up. Worst still, many bailed out from the camp without even staying for a night and end up less then 30 remain. I'm the only CEM student out of all the remainders that stayed for the 3D2N camp.
The best thing was that the ratio was female to male was quite balance but the bad thing was that majority were very chui.

Booked Studio27's Jamming studio for 3 hours.
I volunteered myself to be the singer. Our group sang " Collide " - howdie day, " Fall For You " - secondhand serenade, " 21 Guns " and abit of " When Septembers Ends " - green days.

Hours of singing put tolls to my voice. My voice became more hoarse after all those jamming. It is still fun thought, i can review my singing prowess to my classmate. I had difficultly singing " Collide " because it was a low tune song and i'm weak at this type of song. " Fall For You " and " 21 Guns " was near perfection expect for some parts.

Today was my first time entering the loft of NP's loft@92. The main door was so high tech, accessible only by entering password from the security device. The loft was so spacious, well furnished and the interior design was awe-struck. More then 8 bed and all the rooms were equipped with air-conditioner. The best thing is that there is no rental fee.

Went to Serangoon to do a Ngee Ann Poly's student organized newspaper collecting voluntary work and met made afew friends.
Many people signed up for the voluntary work but less then 30% attended.

We were sent to areas full of bungalow of different design. From modernistic to European style to anything you can dream of.
During one of the house visit, i came across this bungalow with gate that have grills facing an angle obstructing people from viewing into the house. While i was talking to the owner, my partners told me to look at the direction she pointed.
Turned my head and the next moment was the shock of my life. There were this two HUGE Great Danes staring at me. Those Great Danes were just an arm length away from me with the gate separating us. Their height were just one head shorter then me ( ~165cm), thin but muscular and awes-trucking.

Oh great... , once again my computer spoilt. Had to bring this 20 over kilogram elephant to Sim Lim Square for check up. Most of my part's warranty are expired, seriously dont wish to spend money on new parts.

Need to pump more iron to get ready for Nafa. 2 months is really alot to me, equivalent to $2000 plus salary. I'm really weak at 2.4km and sit-and-reach, my mind is so rebellion against my body and my body ain't flexible enough. Need to train more on my biceps. Without any equipment like dumbbell, my triceps are alot more muscular then biceps all thanks to the intense push-up excises.

The ELTECH and IS lecturer suck!.

The ELTECH lecturer failed in her career. She doesn't know how to teach properly, all she did was mumbling to herself. In the class, many people had given up ELTECH because of her. Some where lying down on their table dozing off while others where doing their own things. Not many people bothered to listen to the class. I can't grasp what she is trying to explain, most of what i learnt in ELTECH was from trail and error by myself.

The IS lecturer was a arrogant extreme mood swinger. All his action is so gayish and he talks or accuses mercilessly without second thoughts. He sets a very high expectation for the class and demands minimal flaws. Once he penalised me of rubbing my hair while giving out a speech, how ridiculous. Thought he often cracks really funny jokes espically blue jokes, he still suck alot.

My CCA was great, alot of female but very few chio bu and alot of nerd. Currently trying hard to make friends with those chio ones.

During Poly life, i made alot of new friends. I joined 2 camp within 1 month. Camp was where i had chances to widen my network of friends. My skin darken alot the 2 camp.

My course's intake is around 40 and is divided into 2 class. Out of 40, around 30% are female which is relatively high female to male ratio in Engineering course. Surprised that many of my classmate were SNSD fan and afew are fanatics of SNSD including the malays. It seems that majority of my classmate are from the same school and chose this course together.

Without a sustain income like it used to during the holiday, i'm turned back into my old frugal self.

Portal is quite an unorthodox game. Instead of the common shooting game or hacking and slashing your way to the next stage, the developed alter first person shooter game into a puzzle-like suitable for both sexes. Rather blood splattering all over the place, body being mutilated or any other gore scene, Portal concentrate on humorous and cuteness side.
Player begin awoke from sleep in a confined room with futuristic looking furniture and security camera installed all over the area. There will be a director with a robotic voice hidden from sight to guide player along the stage and will later try ways to take the character's life.
In Portal, player will be equipped with a handheld portal gun that shoot entrance and exit portal allowing player to walk through the portal. This gun made stages a playground for player to teleport around. The character can also suffer a great deal of damage from a long fall without getting killed thanks to the device attached on the character's leg.
In some the stages, there will be disturbing message scribbled on the wall to hint you on the real purpose behind this training.

There seems to be something missing in Warhammer 40k Dawn Of War 2 without the Chaos Space Marine, the Space Marine's main rival. In DOW2 Chaos Rising, the Chaos Space Marine are back to wreck havoc and bring torment to the Blood Raven Chapter. It also signal the start of the second Aurelian Crusade.

The single-player game was relatively short compared to the first series. There are no side quest and the story are straight to the point. Player starts off with level 18 battalion and gets more heroes as the story goes. Player are able to earn alot more item in one campaign.
In each campaign, there will be options for player to choose which will effect character's corruption status. Corruption status will effect the character's ability but will not effect the game play. There are special items that can only be wielded depending on the character's corruption status.

In Multi-player, the new race were the Chaos Space Marine while each existing race were topped up with new unit. Many of the Chaos Space Marine have wide varieties of upgrades of different Chaos God each with their own benefit.

Too caught up with pc games and some Korean idol stuff influenced by younger brother this month.

My father kept on stealing my computer time all thanks to some stupid facebook's Zanga poker thing. Ironically, the one who lectured us that gambling is bad for oneself obsessively spent hours trying to win some worthless virtual money. His aim for his facebook's Zanga poker account was to be rich but yet refusing to play high stake matches.

Now battling with the decision on whether to go Poly Orientation Camp.

Assassin's Creed 2 immerse you into 14th century Italian renaissance period.
You start off as a son of the a noble family gradually learning the hot keys of combat. You then graduate into an assassin after series of event.

AC2 now holds even more AI then before in a single location with negligible frame rate deduction. This means that you could encounter an army of soldiers fighting or a crowd with little space to maneuver without effecting your game play.
There are shops like blacksmiths, tailors, healer, etc doted all across the map. Rather then earning new weapons for each quest finished, you can purchase weapons from blacksmiths. The array of weapons sold from each blacksmiths vary in every map. Every weapons differ in their specification.

The combat system are excellent. There are lots of option to tackle an opponent. Rather then to slash and counter, you can grab the opponent following by an execution or push, dodge for an opening strike, etc. If you don't want bloodshed, there are alternative ways too. For example, you can hire prostitute to seduce the guard and divert their attention.

There are wider varieties of side quest for every map. There are quests like beating up a cheating husband, assassinate specific people, outrun a professional free runner. By luck you will encounter thief or corrupted nobleman. Killing and looting them would earn you a lash of money.

Specific maps hold one or two assassin's tomb where the main goal is to tackle all the obstacles and seize the assassin's relic. The obstacles are challenging and quite frustrating for every failure attempts. Those assassin's relics will gain you one step closer to earning Altair's armoury, the armor that was worn in the first Assassin's Creed by the ancestor.

Battlefield Bad Company 2, the most anticipated First Person Shooter in 2010.
Instead of the futuristic array of imaginative weapons or weapons from the world war 2, you now gain access to the recognizable modern day's weaponry. As standard, Battlefield Bad Company 2 have 4 different class to choose from each with distinctive features. In this is series, it focus more on squad-base tactics with the maximum of 4 player per squad. Every classes of weapons can be unlocked by choosing the specific class to play with. As you progress in rank, you can unlock weapons like semi-auto shot gun or sub-machine gun that are usable by all 4 classes. This means that for example if you play as a sniper, you can choose to fight on the front line rather then sniping from long distance.

Concrete building no longer provide full protection as most cover that you find are destructible. A map filled with buildings can turn into a devastated barren land within minutes of game play. Bullets can also penetrated through fragile covers like wooden fence.

In BFBC2, health bar are removed. Amount of health left are judged by the amount of blood splatter on your screen. A clear screen means full health while a screen filled with blood splatter and vagued vision means on the verge of dying.
The developers added a more realistic function seldom seen in first person shooter game in BFBC2, gravitational pull. With this pulling force, players must aim their cross-hair higher then usual to hit enemies from far distance. Sniper especially must judge by their experiences to get a clean head shot when shooting from very far distance.

If you are a big fan of First Person Shooter, this is a must buy game.

ADAM are valuable source of items in Rapture that enable people to alter their own genes to make them even more powerful. The citizen of Rapture are greedy for ADAM will not hesitate to kill others for more of it. There will be a woman named " LAMD " that disgust you. She uses political might to deludes and rallies troops of Splicers, citizen of Rapture that lust for ADAM to take your life.

Early in the game, you will encounter Big Sister, similar to Big Daddy but alot more agile and deal heavy blows. A screening sound will start once Big Sister's arrival to provoke fear and anxiety.
In Bioshock2, you will encounter other Big Daddy each with distinctive attacking style accompanied by one little sister. Once defeating them, your moral will be tested. You can choose to either adopt little sister which then she can aid you into finding more ADAM from fallen or to harvest her for a mother lode of ADAM. Each and everything decision will effect the outcome throughout the game but the ending will remain the same.

Now players can cast spells while using their weapons at the same time which enable player to come out with a huge variety of combos. Although the guns available may seems limited, there are an array of special ammo with different effectiveness.

Just purchased a second-hand Creative SoundBlaster X-fi Xtreme Gamer for $80. ( Original Price : $139 )
Went to Sim Lim to purchase BioShock2 and then went home.
The Audio was just astounding, way better then shitty intergrated sound device. Also realise that my frame rate increased by a small percentage.

With the release of Battlefield Bad Company 2, Assassin's Creed 2, Command&Conquer 4 Twilight and Dawn Of War Chaos Rising, March will gonna be the month which i would play a heck lot out of computer.

Now, lets talk about some life story. Currently, i'm premeditating for a job after my last day of work at Popular. My brother's lobang is attractive but the location is way too far. IT fare is coming soon and there will be temporary jobs available, this means that i will be jobless until the commence of IT fare and after the event ended. So what how should i decide!

After today, i would have to work for a straight 4 exhausting day untill i said goodbye to this job.

That is the biggest question i'm asking myself.

Bloody hate my job fucking very much and hate wearing company's clothing with huge company's logo on it. Damn bloody ugly.

Currently, my big brother got irresistable lobang. If his company have vancany, i'm so going to quit after CNY and join his company.

Damn fucking irritating.
Today, my counter lost $10 notes. In the end, i gotta pay $7.70 .
The counter opposite to mine was missing of $40, how co-incident.

Fuck pissed, really don't have to mood to continue but because of sheer perseverance, had to clinch to my job till i got a better one.

Currently my cashier department is short-handed so i had to wait till BBC's Popular recruit new cashier inorder for me to be reassigned to another department. Fucking great.

Cashier's job suck infinite lot, even most of the full-time cashier in BBC's Popular had to agreed with it. Constantly facing customer's tantrum, their ill-manner action and saddled with the task to take care of the money not belonging to you and yet you have to treasure it as if it is yours.

Went to Bukit Panjang Primary School to get some edusave scholarship award thing. More then 300 students ranging from primary school to secondary school and graduated students attended the ceremony. Saw Mum Ling and Alvin attended the ceremony too.

The ceremony was held in the school's hall. The welcoming speeches was tedious and there was two boring volunteered speeches composed by a primary and secondary school students. The award presentation was organized methodically, students were grouped into rows labelled A to Z which is 25 rows with 15 sits for each row.

Damn i was placed at row which is the 4th last. While waiting, i took my phone and calculated the time for my turn. It takes like 6 seconds for one students to walk towards Dr Vivian Balakrisnan, shake hands and smile infront of the camera. It was so slow, everyone was whining including me. Couldn't stand it anymore, i went to the toilet and phoned Ji Sheng they all.

On the way back, i came across this T-shirt imprinted with meaningful sentence.

Got my result today. Not anxious about my result but impatience to get my result.
As always, every year our principle will give a tedious speech that can last for half an hour but today, it was much more faster.
My index number was the last two of the class yet my teacher purposefully wanted me to be the last to receive the result.

After calculated my result,
L1B4 : 15
L1B5 : 18

To my knowledge, i was the only one able to go to JC in my class. My teacher advised me to go JC but my firm intention was to go Poly because i hate secondary school-like life.

Also scored A1 for DNT, i think i was the only one in my class that scored A1. Mr Kok, our head DNT department teacher must be so proud of our result. Last year batch of 2008 left Mr Kok with shame and negative remarks as nobody scored distinction. Batch of 2009 finally turn the tide over, regaining Mr Kok's pride and the department's glory.

Was so frustrated that i got B3 for POA. During N-level, Mid-year and Prelim, i got 1, A2 and A1 respectively for my POA but why did i scored a B3 for O-level!? Damn my POA result.

What a wondrous day today was.

Our company had this event call " Xmas gift exchanging ". Staff are to give a Christmas present to another staff that he/she randomly chosen from a bag full staff's name. Today, i received my present from another female cashier. Unwrapped the present while boarding the bus. Astonished to see that the present contained an Adidas shower gel and body spray package. Wondering why did she generously spent so much money just for a Christmas present.

It is quite coincident that most of the cashier picked names from the same department. For me, I picked up a female cashier. Initially intended to give the present received from the staff that picked me to the staff whom i picked but after second thoughts, decided to keep it. Feel kind of guilty for not giving present to the staff whom i picked.

Today, the most anticipated things was to know the amount of my pay.
The amount was : $900~

Today my cashier counter's sales was 15.5K, to my knowledge that was way beyond expected sales. 7K is the average sales amount for each cashier on an average weekend.

So gonna miss Christmas sales.
Had a enjoyable Christmas Eve Chalet, sumptuous buffet and steamboat especially the fish and chip.

As usual, sleeping is the most problematic issue as there are too little bed to accommodate too many people. Sleeping in the room with Ye Shun and Guang Ming was like sleeping in an auditorium were there was an orchestra performance going on. It was so irritating and cram.

Present exchanging was amusingly ridiculous. Most of the present was prepared last minute. My finger got cut by my own nail while trying to tear the sticky tape with my strenght for the present. I got a huge bottle of milk for my present exchanging.

6 bloody days more till my pay day!

Finally, most of the Popular's promotion had ended but new promotion are starting to pop out.
I was astonished to know that the salary of the head of department (HOD) is only $1600 excluding the deduction of CPF and income tax.

There are alternative criteria to become the HOD; staff who worked in Popular for more then 10 years might be promoted to HOD; the shortest route is that a diploma holder in business can be promoted to HOD within months.

Most of the current part time staff are quitting so there will be slots available for grabs.

Whenever our staff encounter a demanding and troublesome customers, we would immediately dial our managers for help. Some of the customers are so pesky that our managers had no choice but to please their demand. Infront of those customers, our manager would pull out their best act to serves those moron as friendly as possible but behind backdoor, our managers would curse and swear them.

Quoting from typical pesky customers are " I dont care ", " I want to see your... ", " It is your problem, not mine ", etc. Mostly aunties and older generation filled in large percentage of these pesky customers category, rarely encounter younger generation and foreigner from this category.

Got quite alittle bored playing L4D2, it seems like valve L4D2 is an add-on addition to L4D franchise. I got 3 off day this week and damn i got to work at eve of Christmas and Christmas.

Can't wait till the 18 of Dec as most of the promotion had ended so that there won't be a need to explain some stupid promotion to each and every customers. I really don't give a damn about my job, as long as i got my work done and my pay slip received.

The Bras Basah Complex's popular cashier department had a total of 16 cashier, 3 males including me while the rest are females. As for my popular cashier department's head, after interacting with her for a months, i found that she was quite a nice person. Looks can be deceiving as her facial structure looks frightening, many staff who did not interact with her much think that she is a fierce person.

I got my vest at Queensway shopping centre for $39.90. When i got to Bugis, i found a shirt and vest combination set for only $32.90. Damn i was so pissed off, felt like I'm being scammed.

Come on... 16 more days till my pay day. I will go on a shopping spree when i collected my pay.

Chalet will be held at around March/April 2010.

Everyone must be steady, do not break your promise when you had confirmed with organizer.
Estimated fee for each person is around $50 because there maybe buffet, BBQ and a 3day 2night Chalet. Any objection, please post at my Cbox.

Nov 25, day off from my work which i had no interest in.
What a delightful and eventful day, went to town with 5B's at the afternoon till evening and then attended Eng Hou's birthday party till night.

Went to town for shopping bringing $70 with me intending to buy new clothing. My mind went into a conflict as the whether to buy or to wait till the year end promotion sales. Saw alot of accessories and clothing that i want but all of them are quite expensive. In the end, i did not buy a thing. I'm gonna buy a beanie!

Was late for Eng Hou's birthday by half an hour. Didn't expect so many people turned up at Eng Hou's birthday. Intended to smash chocolate cream on Eng Hou's face but nobody voluntered to be the first one to do so. The chocolate cake was amazing.

Finally one of my day off did not went wasted.

Left 4 dead 2 set back a few years before Left 4 dead 1; starring Coach, Ellis, Nick, Rochelle. Left 4 dead 2 seems like an expansion pack as there are not many changes.

Left 4 dead 2 now include melee weapons like Katana, Machete, Axe, Frying pan and many more. Although melee weapons deal heavy damage to the zombies, it has drawback too. Using melee weapons makes you prone to friendly-fire and being hit by undetected charging zombies, so be wary of the surrounding while using melee weapons.

There are a wide range of weapons like Grenade launcher, desert eagle, etc. There are new usable items like Adrenaline shot, boost your movement speed and Bile grenade, same concept as the boomer's bile while it is turned against zombie. There are special ammunition like explosive round, etc.
The developers also added new features to the zombie class. They added male and female boomer. A Charger with a huge mutant arm that charges straight into the survivor, graping them and slamming them onto the ground. A pint sized Jockey that hurl itself onto the survivor grabbing hold them, forcing them to move away from the group.
The developer added new uncommon zombie for each map; if you are playing "The Parish", you will encounter a armoured zombie with very high HP but still deal the same damage as normal zombies. In some map, you may encounter more then 5 witches.
The developers did a great job land-scaping the environment but the structure of the map are very confusing for newbies. Maps like " Hard Rain " limits player's vision till the point that the moment the player detects a zombie, he/she will be a few arm length away from the zombie, this happen when it starts to rain heavily.

Met my Head of Cashier department today. She is the frightening figure in the company, ALOT more scarier then three of the company's manager. She is very strict about our action, one mistaken means harsh lecturing.

My Shi fu, a married auntie in her 40s~ whom had educated me for two days, explained that she doesn't want us to pay money due to insufficent funds hence she acted that way to deter us from committing mistakes.

It was very coincident to meet a jie jie, 18 years old who lived just a stone throw away from me was from the same department as me too. In the cashier department, there are only 2 male, including me while the rest are female.

[ Today's Story ]
I met one very chi bai auntie today, the queues was long, there were alot of customers purchasing in large quantities, alot of promotion to be made for each and every customers. This chi bai aunty was very impatient.

While my Shi fu was explaining the promotion to the customers infront of the aunty and encouraging the customers to buy a few more items to seize the promotion opportunities, i glimpsed her. She gave a very annoyed facial expression. When it was the chi bai aunty's turn, her total purchase was a few cent less to be entitled for the promotion.

Thinking that she was in a rush, i did not encourage her to buy more. When i show her the total prices, she complained " why didn't you encourage me to buy more ".
I replied " oh sorry, so do you want to buy more? "
She replied " no " in a frustrated tone.
In my mind i was thinking " WTF bitch, waste my breathe. "

This is why i hated jobs that serve customers. Chi bai poor attitude customers.

Oarfish is the longest and most spectacular of all fish. With its extremely long, ribbon-like and silverish body, a fully grown Oarfish can grow up to 11 meters long. An Oarfish can weight an average of 100kg and can possibly reaching to 300kg. Oarfish are solitary animals, Oarfish are known to be deep sea fish.
Majestic yet its biology remain mystery till today. Although its sighting occurs in all the world's oceans and seas, yet remains one of the most rarely seen of all fishes.

Oarfish diet consist of zooplankton, shrimps, small fishes, jellyfish, squid, etc. Interestingly with such a large size, Oarfish does not have visible teeth.
The Oarfish is a broadcast spawner, depositing unguarded buoyant eggs into the open ocean.
The eggs are large and cylindrical, averaging 2-6 millimeters in size and bright orange, pink, or red in chorion color, with several to numerous oil droplets. The eggs hatch in about three weeks. Baby Oarfish become part of the plankton and drift just beneath the water surface, feeding on smaller forms of plankton.
Sighting of Oarfish in the pass is also connected a mythical creature call Sea Serpent, although there is no record of sea serpents ever doing any harm.

The leatherback turtles are the largest of all living sea turtles. Leatherback turtles can be found in mainly the equator. Leatherback turtles have been around in some form since the first true sea turtles evolved over 110 million years ago during the Cretaceous period.
Leatherback turtles are omnivorous. It feeds on seaweeds, jellyfish, soft-bodied marine organisms like octopuses, squid, etc. Leatherback turtles plays an important role in controlling the jellyfish's population as its main diet are jellyfish.
Instead of the bony shell that modern sea turtles have, the leatherback's carapace is covered by skin and oily flesh. Leatherback's front flippers can grow up to 2.7 meters in large specimens, the largest flippers of any sea turtle by comparison to its body ratio. An adult leatherback can grow up to one to two meters long and weigh from around 250 to 700 kilograms.
Mating takes place at sea. Leatherback males never leave the water once they enter it unlike females which crawl onto land to nest. Chosen nesting beaches are always made of soft sand since their shells are soft and easily damaged by hard rocks. Females will lay around 110 eggs per nest. These eggs will hatch in about sixty to seventy days.

Like all sea turtles, leatherback turtles start their lives as hatchlings bursting out from the sands of their nesting beaches. These baby turtles are defenceless and prone to predators like birds and other reptiles. Out of all baby turtles, only successfully 10% will made it to the ocean and only 1% will made it to maturity. Matured Females will come back to the same nest where they were hatched after mating to lay their eggs.
Leatherback turtles are classified as an Critically Endangered species. The harvesting of sea turtle eggs were the main cause that led to a near-total collapse of local nesting population.

Many of the younger generation of Singaporean may not know or heard about a this forgotten yet dreadful chapter of Singapore which occurred back during the Japanese occupation of Singapore.
The Sook Ching massacre was a systematic extermination of suspected hostile elements among the Chinese in Singapore by the Japaneses military during the Japanese occupation of Singapore, after the surrender of British colony during World War 2.
Sook Ching means "a purge through cleansing" in Chinese while in Japanese, it means " purging of Chinese " and " great inspection of Singapore ".

After the occupation, the Japanese military discovered that the Chinese communities in Singapore were still loyal to either the former former colonial master Britain or the Republic of China. The Japanese military decided on a policy to eliminate potential suspect.

The Japanese military posted notice to rally all Chinese male in Singapore for inspection.

Anti-bodies men were suspected to be from an Anti-Japanese Guerrilla fighter. Men who wrote their name in English were suspected to be a pro-British. Men with tattooed bodied were suspected to be a traid member. Hainanese who the Japanese military viewed as citizen of the communist country were also on the list. The Japanese military also target wealthy men who were likely to be able to fund for the Sino-Japanese war in China.

Chinese who passed the inspection will be stamped a mark on their bodies as an identification of non-potential threat while those who failed were sent to a lorry and sent to the killing sites.

Family members whom their members were taken to the killing sites were not aware about the massacre. Many thought that their members were taken for captivity. Many faithfully believe that their members will return once Japanese military had left Singapore.

There were several killing sites, Changi Beach Park, Punggol Beach, Sentosa, Tanjong Pagar, etc. The killing also extened to Malaysia, particularly Penang. The Death toll was estimated to be between 25000 to 50000. The dead bodies were immediately buried once executed.

Horseshoe crabs are marine living fossil, commonly found in the Gulf of Mexico and along the northern Atlantic coast of North America. These creatures dates back to two hundred million years ago during the Triassic period.

They are not actually crab but a relative to spiders, ticks and scorpions. It has a life span of over 20 years and mature at 9. A fully grown Horseshoe crab can grow up to a size of a basket ball.

Horseshoe crabs possess rare ability to regrow lost limbs, in a manner similar to star fish. They can breathe on land for a short period of time, provide their gills remain moist.

Horseshoe crabs have a hard exoskeleton divided into three parts. The first part consist of eye, pincer used to move food around its mouth and five pairs of moving legs The mouth is situated between the leg. The middle part consist of gills and sex organ. The last part consist of a tail which is used to steer in water and also to flip itself upright.

The blood of the Horseshoe crabs are blue. Horseshoe crabs do not have hemoglobin, which uses iron and is responsible for giving blood its red colour instead they have hemocyanin which uses copper to bind oxygen and also responsible for its blue coloured blood.

Horseshoes crab have remakeable and well developed set of eye. It has 10 eyes; 8 smaller simple eye sensitive to UV light and 2 large lateral eyes. Instead of having 1 lens per eye like human and other creatures do, each horseshoe crab's large lateral eyes contain thousands of small lens, thus they have hexagonal pattern vision. Although Horseshoe crabs have fairly poor range of sight, its eye ability to receive light and movement is much comparable to human.

The Kakapo are a critically endangered species of flightless parrot which could only be found in the island of New Zealand. Kakapo are the world largest and heaviest parrots, nocturnal; creatures that are active during the night and herbivore.

A fully grown Kakapo can grow up to a size of a Pug and weight around 2~3 kg.Its yellowish-green feather blends perfectly into the dense vegetation making it hard for predator to catch them. They are gentle and curious. Kakapo have an astonishing long life-span of between 95 to 125 years old.

Kakapo lost its ability to fly because they thrived in island that have few predators and abundant of food. By evolutionary terms, because most of Kakapo's predators were avian like the laughing Owl; an extincted species, escaping through flying means death, hence camouflaging is the best option. Additionally, Kakapo have very few land predators, this contributed to their lost in wing's muscle mass.

Kakapo does not develop pair bond; males and females meet only to mate. During mating seasons, males will venture out seeking for mates. Males may dug a bowl like nest for mating purpose; they will project low frequency booming sound that can be heard 5 kilometres away using a sound detective devices tp attract females.
Kakapo's population plummeted drastically when human set soil onto their island. The native first set foot on their island. They hunted Kakapo for food, parts and their alluring feather to craft luxurious item.
When the European arrived, they cleared the forest for agricultural purpose. When a Kakapo felt threaten, it will instinctively camouflage itself in dense vegetation and freeze. This instinct lead to their downfall as dogs and cats that the Europeans brought with have keen sense of smell and can root them out. Furthermore, Kakapo have a distinct heavy odor which allow dogs and cats to track them with ease. Many Kakapo were captured and sent to zoos, museums and collectors, many died within months.
Before the conservation project in 1950s, less then 25 Kakapo existed in the island.
Now according to estimation and conservation effort, there are only around 125 Kakapo left in this world.

Trip to SPCA @ 4/Oct/09

Went to SPCA located just a stone away from Bartley MRT station with Samuel, Zheng Yong and Gabriel.
The places was jam-packed with visitors. It was cram and not spacious enough to house over a few hundred visitors. There were alot of souvenir for sales and some activities.
We went to an area where SPCA display their animal for adoption in a cage just enough for 2 adults maneuver around. Before entering the area, i informed my friend that we should feel sad for this dogs rather then been awed by their cuteness.
There were dogs ranging from pups to adults and comes in all sizes. All dogs were friendly. I was shocked to see 2 huge German Shepherd, comparable to the size of a mountain bike. Beside each cage that housed a dog, there was information regarding the dog. Disgusted to see that most dogs were abandoned.

There was a cross-breed Dachshund and Labrador Retriever dog. The dog's size was horrifying and abnormally large.After glimpsing through the dog, I pinpointed my attention to it's leg. Predicted, it had problems with it's bone structure which by logic created the dog alot of health problems.

Fumingly and pensively thinking, how irresponsible those previous owners were. I felt lugubrious for the cross-breed Dachshund and Labrador Retriever dog.

Red Faction Guerrilla is the most physics intensive game i ever play.
Much like a Mixture of GTA4 and fallout3 where its a open world and strangers to shoot at wantonly.
The game falls on Mars where you experience martian weather and condition. The weird aspect of this game is that if human is able to survive without a space suit, no doubt plant life is able to flourish in this planet but all i see was barren land voided of vegetation.
Your main goal is to liberate the settler of Mars from EDF, a military organisation that treat the settler of Mars like a working slave by destroying their infrastructure vital for their economic growth.
There are numerous side question waiting for you like going into a guerrilla raiding party, rescuing hostages, destroying structure within a period of time, etc.
Common settler of Mars can lend you a hand when you are under heavy fire.
Your best buddy, the sledgehammer will accompany you throughout the game. Use your sledgehammer and hack your way through anything from building to human flesh except the martian ground.

Today was the end of Prelim week 1
Alot of things happened during this hectic days.

Last week was the submission of our DNT's course work. After finishing, i decided to draw the picture above to kill the time while waiting for my friend to finish their course work.

I was hectically studying for the next day Physic and math prelim exam while all in the sudden, an uninvited guest who trespassed my house numerous time jumped from my room's window. I concentrated all my attention onto the study so it's sudden appearance gave me a shock.

Normally, the cat will mysteriously appear inside my house around midnight but that day was different. The cat trepassed my house at around 11pm. which was still awake busy studying away. The cat's adorable look trigger my brain to rub it. After awhile, i decide to chase it out. Our handsome De Xiang.

21-08-08 @ Alvin's Bday Chalet

Our group set off to Alvin's birthday chalet at around 7:30pm. Board the transport at 8plus. The journey took nearly an hour and a half. Not much excitement to be expecting when we reach the Chalet. Alvin's Chalet located in the private resort which a dollar fee is required to enter, that is one gay business tactics to rip guest's money.

There was once when the crew of the private resort warned us to lower down our noise emission as some people lounged a complain.
The taste of the chicken breast meat prepared by Alvin's mother was out of this world, the seasonin

g and marinating was the winning recipe.

Unexpected Chinese result marks

Today was the moment of truth to see the result of my weakest subjects, Chinese.
I wasn't anxious about my result as i pass the time as if it was like a mundane school days.
Everyone in the class was feeling tense judging on their facial expression while some want to overcome their stress by shouting out loud. I predicted that my result will be either a C6 or fail as the effort that i put in for this subject was a manifestation.

Once it is the time for the collection of result, everyone took slow pace towards the hall where the result will be announced. As our class enter the hall, i experience a sense of tense atmosphere.
Scanning through the surrounding, i saw students showing sign of nervy about their result, some comforting and emboldened each their while others prayed. As for me, i sit there as if it is like a morning assembly.

When the principle came, his verbal diarrhea problem started. Half way through his speech, he flashed out a PowerPoint slide showing the result. When the page flashed to 5NA, i pinpointed my eye into the percentage of passes. I felt so relief when the percentage shows 100%.
The speech took more then half an hour before it finally end.
When the vice principle announced the release of result, the level of intensity sky rocketed.
When i finally got a glimpse on my result, i was astonished. Miraculously, i got a B4!
The result was way above what i predicted!

After the release of result, students in the hall jumped for joy, others treated it impassively while some sobbed. Our chinese teacher was also shocked when the result was way above expected.

Dream is the driving force for success.

Medal Of Honor [ Edu Vol 3 ]

The Medal Of Honor is the highest military awarded by the United States government.

The medal is bestowed to any distinguishes member of the United State army forces who reach this criteria "conspicuously by gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his [or her] life above and beyond the call of duty while engaged in an action against an enemy of the United States."
As the highest award the United States government can give, the medal is always awarded with ceremony and honor.
Today, more then 3000 medals are awarded, less then 100 recipient are alive and the number is still dwindling. Its one in a life time chances to meet a MoH recipient real life.
From History, 19 men have been awarded with MoH twice but all of the them deceased.
To protect the statues of MoH, laws had been enforced to prevent unauthorized manufacture or wearing by people who are not entitled to the medal.

John Finn was the first recipient to receive the MoH in World War 2 at the deck USS Enterprise 67 years ago.
He was in Pearl Harbour wielded with a 20.cal machine gun shooting at the Japaneses plane despite being wounded more then 20 times for 2 solid hours.
He was also the oldest surviving recipient aged nearing to 100 years old of the Medal of Honor.

Weird stuff happened

Whenever we woke up in the middle of the night, something will be calling us and that is nature.
I woke up in the middle of the night at around 2am to answer nature's call. On the way to the kitchen's toilet, i found a strange black figure dashed into the toilet. It gave me a shock, my heart starts pumping with a sudden rush of adrenaline and my mind was having conflict over what the black figure was.

After confronted myself that there is no such things as ghost, I puked up my courage to find out whats the black figure was. As i slowly approach the toilet, my heart pumping vigorously as if its like after having a 2.4km run. When i took a glimsp into the toilet, i found an adorable teenage black cats with a pair of white feets on its back paws.
The cat meowed at me once noticing, the meow sinked my heart.

I cautiously tip-toed toward the cat. The cat totally ignored my present while scratching the huge container that was inhabited by gramp, a tortise. Fearing that the cat would reacted hostilely, i took a long stick and nudged it's body.
As the cat did not respond to the nudging, it signaled that it is safe. As i blocked the cat from container, it dashed out of the toilet and begun to pat something on the floor repeatly. That something was a struggling croachroach that turned upside down.

The meow produced from the cat triggered me feed it but after thinking that the cat would come back for more, i refrained myself from doing so. Next, I grabbed the cat, plonked it outside my house and locked the door.

After that, i went back to clean up the toilet. All in the sudden while i was cleaning up, i heard a soft "Meow". When i set my sight onto the floor, i saw the same cat just an arm lenght away from me. I was stunned and puzzled by how the cat managed to enter the house despite the door begin locked. After second thought, i realise that cats could jump as high as 7 times it's height and maybe it infiltrated the house from the opened window in my room that was next to the house entrance.

The cat kept following me hence i got dressed up, grabbed the cat and went outside my house to take the lift down the basement. As i exit the lift and so do that cat, i walked straight towards the mailbox while the cat inspects the surrounding as it stands outside the lift. I was amused that the closing sound of the lift gave a shock to the cat. I lured the cat towards me and when the cat approached, i ran behind the mailbox and made an escape back into the lift while leaving behind the cat.

When i came home, my mum and dad questioned me what happened and so i begun the story all over again.

She was commanded by (click>) Admiral " Bull " Halsey during the Pacific war.

USS Enterprise was considerably the veteran of all carrier during that dark period as she participated more major actions of the war against Japan than did any other US ship.

USS Enterprise earned 20 battle stars, the most for any US warship in World War 2. Some have labeled her the most glorious and honored ship in all of United States Naval history.

Just day before the raid in Pearl Harbour, " Big E " and her fleet was on the way back to Pearl Harbour but an unexpected change in weather hinder them from reaching which miraculously saved the fleet from being destroyed during the raid in Pearl Harbour.

Although " Big E " was the most formidable carrier, she was hit server times but as always, luck was on her side.

" Big E " was also the first carrier to launch night air strike. With rewarding successes, her code name (CV-6) changed to (CVN-6) which N represent night. The atmosphere was same as usual except that the estimated number of that came to the BBQ exceeded the expected number hence our food depleted faster then what i estimated to last. When one accuse others that fault was caused by them, neutral who are patsy enough will join the accusing party without even thinking. BBQ party was considerably a disaster. Tank for the beverage was not brought to the party, slight dispute over money issue which i had to be the peace messenger of both party.

If both party put their shoes on others, then the problem will be easily solved just like 1+1=2 but some just tried to act self righteously. Cant blame, this is what humans nature is.

Didn't even realise that i was sunburned till i saw my arms changed colours.

Finally, the criminal that disconnected me from Virtual World was put behind bars.
With the help of expertise, we had rooted out the criminal. The criminal is a double agent and it's name is GRAPHIC CARD! Damn it that i got deceived after so freaking long period.

At around 11am, i went to Sim Lim Square. Damn i had to carry my 15 plus kilogram computer by bus to Sim Lim Square. The expertise diagnosed that the graphic card was faulty.

At around 3pm, went to Tech Place1 located at Ang Mo Kio to change via warranty. The services received from Corbell's crew member was impeccable. Thumps up for Corbell. I had changed from 9800GTX to GTS 250. Seriously, the GTS250 cost about $280~ but i claimed it for free using warranty. Cons for DIY PC is that it is troublesome but the effort worth a million.

Those photo above are my artifact. N-level DNT was merely similar to O-level DNT. As a veteran in DNT, i discovered that students making artifact with a base and some deco affixed on top of their base scores pretty low marks hence i broke the tradition by making an unorthodox design. Its a modular stationery holder that specifically hold markers. Additionally i made a tape dispenser ( third picture ) which the sharp razor and the tape holder are able to swivel.

Same as usual, had lunch at the coffeeshop a stone throw away from school. I'm got sick and tired of eating the same food from the same place but whining wont change the situation.

I mistaken my graphic card for being the criminal. Still, the criminal is still hidden somewhere in the darkness and his crime was disconnected me from the virtual world for more then a week which was also a triumph for me.

During the weeks, nothing interesting happen. DNT was really exhausting. In order to finish the artifact which consist of " ALOT " of marks, i rushed through all lesson and the weird things was all punishment was sentenced onto my right hand. Hope that my toll will be rewarded.
During the weeks when i was at home, in order not to idle myself, i wisely invested my time on Bukit Panjang Library alone for two intention ; Free air-con and books that interest me.

O-level Chinese is round the corner. My Chinese result is always disappointing and my progress is stagnant since primary school. I'm content if i scored a C6 for my Chinese and i will be staggered if I'm able to score C5 or higher. 拿到C6就已经很满足了.
I envy Malay language, their word are a translation of English. In Chinese language, if you have no clue of what the word is, guessing it will be futile as there are no translation but in Malay, you can pronounces the word even if you have zero knowledge of the word.
I remorsed on how i started hating Chinese at primary 4 as a result, i either flunk my chinese test or scored a " Just pass " result.

Today's activity was monstrosity. DNT from 8am till 5pm and all was making artifact. I inhaled so much impurity and virulent toxic, furthermore my gold mine inhabited uncountable amount of gold.

While i was buffing this friable piece of acrylic and in just a spit second, the buffing machine catapulted my acrylic which it was crafted from my toll as a result the arms of the acrylic broke.
The workshop is always hot and humid and the air was filled with suspending dust waiting to be inhaled by someone.

After two days (2 x 13hrs) of treacherous and back-breaking hours of " Motivational " workshop, i was utterly zonked.

Lecturers were jovial and offen crack jokes to hinder us from feeling lethargic. We was taught skills that could come handy in my academics.

Day 2, this guy called Doctor Ernest Wong came and lectured us about life skill. He seems abit haywire or stressed up as he would suddenly wham the whiteboard, or gets madden without reasons. He even smashed a glass cup onto the ground to burst out his "rage ". He vilified us vociferously on how insensitive we were when dealing with our parents and imbue us with guilt by endorsing how poignant the day were when our mother was in labour and the toll that she unconditionly lavished us. He also wants us to make a clean breast of our guilt and beat one's breast by doing some soul searching solemnly.

From day 1, i had rooted out what going to happen and knew Doctor Ernest Wong was a talented actor. During the speech, 90% of the students in the room remorse about their behaviour towards their parents and sobbed but i was sitting on a corner forcing myself not to laugh. When we were asked to " pray " for forgiveness and blessing, i refrained myself from doing it as you know, i'm an A~~ .
This program was a manipulation of our brain and had negligibly motivated me by about 25% although its a waste of my life.

Alright people, stop ear bashing me with questions me about my rabbits.
Here goes the story.
Last week, my big brother's girlfriend went on a holiday and she lurched her rabbit into the care of my big brother. I was astonished that we are going to babysit 2 adults and 5 teenager rabbits. The stench from their waste product was heavenly.
After a couple days, the adult female rabbit miraculously gave birth to an stunning number of 9 bunnies, wonder how my big brother's girlfriend is going to deal with it.
Total number of rabbits = 2 adults + 5 teenagers + 9 babies = 16!

Motorbike racing is also available in Paradise but selection of motorbike is limited.
There are also hidden area to be explored and bouns to be earned in the city.

Our mother Earth was repeatedly abused by humans activity. Because of money, human will do anything to get more and this is why our green lung of earth, forest is diminishing at an astonishing rate. Every year, forest sizing of around 4x the area of Singapore were being cleared away for various reasons.
Although a person's effort to save our Earth seems to be impervious and negligible, with every one's effort, I'm undoubtedly sure that mother Earth will recover from her illness.

Human being killing each are utterly absurd. Estimation shown that around 22Nd ~ 24rd century, Human being will be a Type 1 civilization and we will be exploring the universe in search of other civilization. It will be a waste of human power if the same civilization fight each other. Human should prepare to face against threats from outer space does occur, we may not know how other civilization will react. Maybe some civilization are vicious, arrogant or amiable.

A look at Saturn through a telescope 2009. The rings of Saturn can be seen in even the most modest of optical instruments. The author first saw it when he was about 13 and had just got a 3 in toy Newtonian for Christmas. The author was just pointing it a bright things in the sky and was stunned to see Saturn, rings and all, sitting there on the velvety black sky like a tiny, but perfect painted gem.

Saturn is currently (March 2009) due South at about midnight.

Saturn at the moment is not as impressive as when the rings are open but its always amazing when you see this planet, the more so as you know the Huygens probe now sits on Titan.

Whenever a team loses the round, they will be stripped of weapons allowing opposite team to kill them for a limited time. Each weapons have its own unique taunt.
Class like "Medics" have a special ability to " Uber Charge " a player which turn him and ownself invulnerable to damage for a brief moment when it's healing bar reached maximum.
Class like "Scout" has the fastest movement speed but this advantage cost him the to have the lowest life point among all class
Class like the "Spy" have the ability to cloak for a period of time until it's cloaking bar is exhausted and also able to dress up as other class. One stab from a back by a spy will instantly kill a player.

There will be achievement to be unlocked. Enough achievement enquired will grant your character new weapons. All weapons in TF2 has it trade off so player have to take in consideration to customize their weaponry.

You can choose to go straight for the main quest or investing more time on side quest. Every quest you finished will earn one a new items. Every quest you finished will earn experience for the participating squad for leveling up. Commander and squad leader's clothing, weapons, accessories and skill can be customized based on how you upgrade your army.

Units will dive into cover automatically when under bombarded by hails of bullet.

In multi player, mindlessly sending troops to storm the opponent is not what the game are meant for. The resources to build a squad of unit and the limited army size makes every unit count. Specific strong units like the commander could wipe out an entire squad. Rather then to harvest the resources like all the RTS game do, resources in DOW2 are earned by seizing the resource point dotting all over the map.

NPC's AI was amazingly refined. Most of the civilian in Liberty City were easily fret and had a habit of shouting vulgarities even if you accidentally knocked on them.

Wide variety of cars to chose from as each have their own performances. While raining , the reduced friction enhanced controlling difficulty.

You held the ticket of indulgence in the city but still, Cops are always on the lookout unless you are undeterred by their unlimited numbers.

Fallout3 is mixture of FPS/TPS ( First/Third Person Shooter ) and RPG ( Role Playing Game ).

The player is on a mission to seek for the character's father who had ventured out of the radiation free and safety of the vault, a huge fully functional city like tunnel with all the facilities installed for human to carry on its daily activities.

In Fallout 3, you have the freedom to kill anyone you desire. You can be a serial killer, killing everyone randomly or a saviour of humanity depending on your action. Be mindful that everything you do will effect the game and the hostility of NPCs. Killing an important NPC will alter the game play.

Day Night cycle are included giving player a more realistic game play. Day time are busting with activities while night time remind NPCs to go back home for a sleep.
Everything that is pick able can be loot.
Weapons range from knife to sledgehammer, pistol to laser rifle and nuclear weaponry.
Doing miscreant act and felony like murder, looting or pickpocketing in the town will craft negative remark on NPCs and some may rally together to take your life.

The Pip Boy 3000 is a futuristic machine attached to your wrist that will play an important role during your adventure. It allowing you to pause time, choose to hit which ever parts of the target indicated by it's percentage of scoring a hit. After selecting, the character will execute the attack in slow motion. This slow motion effect seems to be pretty interest as you wait anxiously for the result of your execution. Sometime a critical hit could result in an explosion of flesh and blood like a firework.

The combat system are bland with little differences. Durability of weapons will decrease each time you uses it so constant repairing of weapon will be quite irritating.

Your main job is to shoot your way through the safe zone of every map in order to complete the level each consisting of 4 stages.
Difficulty can vary from easy to expert. Expert difficulty seems to be utterly impossible to win as one hit from a normal infected zombie cost you 10% of your Hitpoint.
Weapons are very limited, ranging from shot gun, rifle to grenades.
There are 5 special infect zombie in left4dead. There are hunter which love to give you a flying hug of death, smoker who grab you by it's tongue and bomber who spurt bile that attract zombie to attack you.
There is a fearful Witch who will knockout anyone with a single blow if startled. The moment you hear a frightening song, it indicates that a witch is nearby. The nearer you are to the witch, the louder the song becomes.
There is a big robust and grotesque tank that will charge at you. Tank are ranged and melee, one melee from a tank can send a player flying.
In player Vs player match , 2 teams of 4 players played as a role of Infected and Survivor.

Warhead series delve you into the scence of PSYCHO as his job was to recover the Warhead.
System requirement was decrease by a few percent less then the original, the game also includes Crysis:War for online mutliplayer gaming.
The game also added few new weapons and vehicles.
Although the chapter was much shorter then before , the story packed more epic scene.
